Obtain paint types, colors, number of coats, and areas to be painted from work orders, engineering drawings, and process specifications;
Mix paints to specified proportions and to obtain proper consistency for application;
Perform incidental preparatory duties such as cleaning and preparing surfaces for painting and masking to skin breaks or other physical references;
Lay out for, masking, and spraying all types of primer, finish, and protective coatings on surfaces of detail parts and of sub-assemblies;
Make operating adjustments to painting equipment to control spray pattern, density, and splatter as required
