Manufacturing Production Sidekick - Entry Level

Evolve Botanica is a woman‑owned artisan skincare and candle company based in Marietta, Georgia. For over two decades, we’ve been creating thoughtfully made products rooted in craftsmanship, quality, and intentional production.

We are currently seeking a Shop Assistant / Production Prep to support our studio before, during, and after production runs. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, working with their hands, and being part of a fast‑moving, creative environment.

This role is best suited for someone who wants to grow with our company, contribute to evolving systems, and take pride in being part of a team that builds things well and builds them together.

About the Role

This is not a passive or desk‑based position. Our studio is active, highly scented, and constantly evolving. No two days look exactly the same. It supports production by helping prepare the workspace, materials, and components ahead of production and assisting with labeling, packaging, and organization after production. Efficiency matters here. We aim to handle products as minimally as possible while maintaining quality and consistency.

This will start as a part‑time role (at least 4 days a week) but can expand to full‑time as we are experiencing growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the studio for production days (cleaning, organizing, staging materials)
  • Set out containers and supplies for candle and skincare production.
  • Inspect glassware for flaws or inconsistencies
  • Wick candle vessels accurately and consistently
  • Assist with ingredient and component preparation as directed
  • Label finished products with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Package and case‑pack products for retail and wholesale orders
  • Assist with final quality checks prior to shipment
  • Support internal product sampling and testing (human testing only)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Assist with restocking and organizing inventory
  • Support light design or creative tasks as needed
  • Help prepare products for markets, wholesale orders, or special projects
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced production environment
  • Comfortable with hands‑on work and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow established processes
  • Able to work independently once trained, while also collaborating with the team
  • Comfortable working in a highly scented environment
  • Positive, focused, and adaptable mindset
  • Interest in being part of a growing company, not just a short‑term role

Previous experience in production, studio work, warehouse environments, or small‑batch manufacturing is helpful but not required. We are looking for the right fit, not a résumé checklist.

This Role Is Not a Fit If
  • You prefer slow‑paced work or extended downtime
  • You are sensitive to fragrance or uncomfortable in a highly scented space
  • You are looking for a role where every day follows the same routine
  • You are uncomfortable standing, moving, and working hands‑on throughout your shift
  • You prefer environments with rigid routines and little change
Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (as needed)
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency
  • Comfort working in a fragrance‑forward production space
Why You’ll Love Working Here
  • Be part of a woman‑owned, independent company with a long‑standing reputation
  • Contribute meaningfully to a growing production operation
  • Work in a creative, collaborative, and respectful studio environment
  • Be part of a team where your consistency, efficiency, and care actually matter

Compensation, schedule, and hours will be discussed with candidates who are a good mutual fit.
