Depending on the candidate, this is can be either a second shift or third shift position. Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm or 11pm – 7am.
The Sheeter Operator is responsible for sheeting paper according to job tickets and performing quality checks to ensure paper meets quality standards. This employee needs to be able to work with minimal supervision and communicate effectively with both production and office personnel.
Responsibilities- Be certified to drive a forklift
- High physical activity involved with moving large (1+ ton) paper rolls
- Enter orders correctly into the sheeter
- Comply with quality specifications
- Proper handling of discrepant material
- Accurately complete sheeter paperwork
- Accurately create load tags
- Read and accurately follow special instructions
- Forklift certification (required)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Effective communication with production and office personnel
