LHH is assisting a boutique landlord-tenant firm based in Marietta, Georgia. The firm specializes in commercial real estate leasing and represents high-level clients. The practice spans multiple states, and the firm is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to its clients.
Job Description: As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for handling various landlord-tenant matters. You will work closely with clients to provide strategic legal advice and representation in complex landlord-tenant disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in landlord-tenant matters, including commercial real estate leasing disputes.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice to clients.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations, both in-person and via Zoom.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent client service.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Georgia Bar is required.
- Additional bar admissions in Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, or Virginia are a plus.
- 1-4 years of practice experience, with a preference for landlord-tenant or civil litigation experience.
- Bankruptcy experience is a big plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preference for candidates with law review experience, but not required.
