GDCR Attorneys at Law is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join the firm’s Real Estate /Government/Eminent Domain Group. As a Litigation Attorney, you will primarily represent our clients in eminent domain matters and advise our clients on various transactional matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to serve public sector clients.
Duties- Conduct legal research and analysis to provide accurate and timely advice to clients
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, appeals, hearings, and depositions
- Assist in mediations and settlement negotiations
- Be a team player
- Embrace the challenge of assisting and educating public sector clients with the task of compliance with numerous Georgia legal requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the State Bar of Georgia
- 2 to 5 years of Litigation experience, real estate experience preferred but not necessary
- Professional knowledge of the Federal and Georgia rules of civil procedure
- Experience with discovery in both Federal and Georgia courts
- Experience with drafting and filing motions in both Federal and Georgia courts
