Company located in Marietta, GA has an immediate need for a Sr. Cisco Network Engineer Connectivity for a direct hire position. This position reports to the Network Services Manager and will participate in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Sr. Network Engineer responsible for high-level network planning, design, and optimization.
- Develop engineering designs from architectural artifacts and direction for network systems solutions using current and emerging technologies.
- Translate business requirements into network or process designs.
- Plan and recommend network hardware, systems management software and platforms.
- Approve and modify network design based architecture to ensure compliance.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, and hubs for the network systems (including wireless and VoIP).
- Evaluate and recommend new products; maintain knowledge of emerging technologies for enterprise application.
- Monitor network performance, perform capacity planning, and proactively assess and recommend improvements.
- Perform troubleshooting procedures and design resolution scripts.
- Install, maintain, recommend, document, and support network system software/hardware.
- Execute a strategic vision for delivering value-added customized Operational Support Services.
- Support across disparate technologies in the organization with a value-driven approach and influence on business processes within the Operational Support Services framework.
