IT Audit Manager (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Marietta, GA

We are seeking a senior‑level IT Audit Manager to plan, execute, and manage risk‑based audits across information technology, Dev Sec Ops , and operational environments using Agile methodologies. This role focuses on strengthening governance, control effectiveness, and regulatory compliance across cloud and on‑premises systems.

• Lead IT, cybersecurity, and integrated audits covering governance, system development, infrastructure, networks, and applications
• Plan and execute risk‑based audits, including scoping, walkthroughs, risk and control matrices, and framework mapping
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of security and technology controls
• Partner with technology, security, and business teams to validate findings, recommend remediation, and perform follow‑up testing
• Review audit documentation, evidence, and proofs‑of‑closure to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain and update information security audit procedures and baseline security controls
• Support regulatory and compliance initiatives aligned with industry standards

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology‑related field (Master’s preferred)
• 5+ years of experience auditing IT and/or cybersecurity processes and controls
• Experience auditing cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure and Gov Cloud
• Strong knowledge of frameworks and standards such as NIST (800‑53), FFIEC, CIS, DISA STIG, FedRAMP, and CMMC
• Experience with identity and access management, zero‑trust architecture, data protection, network and OS security, and incident response
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams, business leadership, and external auditors
