Job Details:

• Work night shifts Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM

• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs

• Must be dependable, accountable and cooperative

• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment

• Set up equipment to provide imaging services and position patients for procedures

• Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history

• Administer contrast media following established procedures

• Review CT/radiographic images for clinically acceptable results

• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment

• Demonstrate competence with equipment operation and power injection

• Maintain competency with venipuncture

• Adjust technique to minimize radiation dose while maintaining image quality

• Complete all studies in RIS and send to PACS immediately after completion

• Take call when necessary

• Required certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS

• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required

• Less than 1 year experience in CT preferred

• Must have accredited program in Radiologic Technology

• Must exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills

• Must be able to perform effectively in stressful and fast-paced work environment
