Summary
The Revenue Cycle Billing Manager is responsible for the operational effectiveness, financial performance, and regulatory compliance of healthcare billing and revenue cycle activities. This role provides hands-on leadership across billing operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant claim submission and reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee day-to-day healthcare billing and revenue cycle operations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, payer, and contractual requirements
- Manage, coach, and develop billing team members
- Monitor and report revenue cycle KPIs
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve billing issues
- Ability to manage multiple EMR systems
- Support system enhancements and payer changes
- 5-7 years of healthcare billing/RCM experience required
- Home health or post-acute billing experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business is a plus
- Leadership experience managing billing teams
- Strong Excel and billing system proficiency
