This position will lead and manage engineering projects supporting facility upgrades, strategic water quality initiatives, and ongoing operational improvements. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in both conventional and advanced water treatment processes, a solid foundation in water chemistry, knowledge of various treatment equipment, experience leading pilot studies, and the ability to troubleshoot complex operational issues. This role requires a professional with strong communication skills who can translate technical analysis into practical, sustainable improvements that enhance system performance and regulatory compliance.
This is a mid‑level professional engineering position working under moderate supervision. Directs and performs more complex engineering projects such as transmission pipeline improvements; booster pump stations and storage tanks; and facility improvements. Works closely with and directs professional consultants and construction contractors. Negotiates contracts, assists in budget preparation and the capital improvement plan and coordinates the RFP process. Works closely with and reports to the Director of Engineering.

Works closely with and directs professional consultants and construction contractors.
