Water​/Wastewater Engineer

Job Description

The Water & Wastewater Engineer will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for municipal water and wastewater projects, including treatment facilities, pump stations, and pipeline design.

Primary Essential Functions:

• Lead and manage water and wastewater engineering projects, ensuring compliance with project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Perform design, analysis, and planning for municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and pipelines.
• Oversee and coordinate project teams, ensuring adherence to ESI’s quality standards and best practices.
• Prepare technical reports, planning studies, and design documents to clearly convey project findings and recommendations.
• Apply ESI’s Quality Assurance Program to improve project outcomes and ensure industry compliance.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
• Utilize Auto Desk products and 3D design software to support project execution.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Water/Wastewater Engineering design and project management for municipal clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration in Georgia or the ability to obtain within six months.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
• Experience with Auto Desk products and 3D design software is a plus.
