Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position for a Surgical Technology Faculty Instructor located at South College's Marietta, GA campus. Responsibilities include planning and delivering effective instruction in surgical technology, developing curriculum, ensuring student engagement, and assessing student performance. The Faculty Instructor will also provide academic advising, support student learning outcomes, and collaborate with other faculty members to maintain program excellence.
Qualifications- Proficient in teaching, training, and education to effectively deliver course content and mentor students.
- Skilled in curriculum development to create and implement comprehensive educational plans aligned with program objectives.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of surgical technology practices and relevant certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience in higher education or teaching in a related field is preferred.
- Associates or higher degree in a related field required, with teaching credentials or certifications in surgical technology considered an asset. (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
