Job SummaryKennesaw State University invites applications for a tenure-track Associate Professor or Full Professor of Information Technology in the Department of Information Technology, with a preferred start date of August 2026. Rank is determined at hire and will be commensurate with credentials. This is a nine-month contract and work is in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities- Teach information technology at undergraduate and graduate levels in modalities including online, hybrid, or face-to-face as required by the department.
- Develop and maintain an active, productive research agenda.
- Provide service to the Department, College, University, or professional community.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications- An earned PhD or foreign equivalent in a computing discipline (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data and Information Science, Computer and/or Electrical Engineering) is required at the time of hire.
