The Chief Estimator lays the financial and technical groundwork for every project we pursue. By producing precise, well-structured bids, this role directly contributes to winning the right jobs and setting the company up for smooth, profitable execution. A strong estimate helps ensure we go into each project with clarity, confidence, and alignment.

• Analyze construction drawings, scope documents, and specifications
• Break down and quantify materials, labor, and equipment costs
• Coordinate with the Pre-Construction Sales to align on bid strategy and prioritization
• Input and refine items in Pro Estimate to streamline accuracy
• Prepare and submit comprehensive bid packages in the required formats
• Track and manage multiple bid versions and resubmissions
• Participate in project handoff meetings once jobs are awarded
• Maintain a well-organized archive of past bids for future benchmarking
• Monitor estimating trends and continuously refine pricing accuracy

• Exceptionally detail-oriented and methodical
• Comfortable reading architectural drawings and interpreting specifications
• Strong mathematical and analytical thinking
• Able to manage multiple bid cycles with evolving requirements
• Consistently organized and deadline-driven
• Capable of working independently while staying aligned with sales goals
• Proficient in estimating and takeoff tools (e.g., , Bluebeam)

• Bid win rate
• % variance between estimated vs. actual material/labor costs
• % of bids submitted on time
• % of rework cycles per project
• Improve item accuracy in Pro Estimate, reducing submittal and procurement times significantly
• Build and maintain a historical pricing reference sheet by job type
• Aid in the development of a smoother bid-to-handoff process with Sales and Ops
