About the Role

The Structural Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing self-performed structural construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to CW Matthews’ quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of structural construction projects, from preconstruction through final completion
• Oversee self-performed structural work including scheduling, labor planning, equipment, and materials
• Coordinate with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Develop and manage project budgets, cost controls, and forecasts
• Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate execution
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Track project progress and prepare regular reports for leadership
• Assist with change management, RFIs, submittals, and documentation

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience managing self-performed structural construction projects
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or related field
• Strong understanding of structural construction means and methods
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and field operations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
