Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive improvements in operations through process optimization and support for tooling and equipment.
• Reduce costs and enhance quality in manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure consistent manufacturing performance.
• Create, update, and manage standard work, process maps, work instructions, and maintain accurate and current documentation for all manufacturing processes and workflows.
• Establish and sustain standardized procedures, process documentation, and routing structures.
• Contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts through process development, capacity analysis, and launch readiness.
• Work with tooling, maintenance, and engineering teams on die design, process improvements, and equipment upgrades.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, with preference for forging or metal forming experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodologies.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marengo, IL.

Workplace Type:
This is a fully onsite position in Marengo, IL.

The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $45.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
