Position: Insurance Account Manager / Inside Sales Representative

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Insurance Account Manager / Inside Sales Representative to join our growing agency in Marco Island, FL
. This full-time, on-site role blends client account management with proactive sales efforts, ensuring both exceptional service and business growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, enjoys solving client insurance needs, and is driven to grow retention and revenue across a diverse client portfolio. In this position, you will manage a variety of personal and commercial accounts, balancing day-to-day servicing with strategic sales initiatives.

You ll help clients optimize coverage, handle renewals, and uncover opportunities for cross-selling or new business development—all while supporting the agency s growth objectives in Marco Island
.

Responsibilities
  • Client Account Management:
    Maintain and oversee a dedicated book of insurance accounts, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and timely service in Marco Island.
  • Sales & Business Growth:
    Follow up on inbound leads, conduct outbound prospecting, and identify opportunities to expand coverage and services.
  • Policy Support:
    Prepare accurate quotes, process applications, handle endorsements, and manage all policy documentation efficiently.
  • Renewals & Retention:
    Lead account renewal reviews, remarketing, and retention efforts to maintain competitive coverage placement.
  • Communication & Service:
    Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries, billing questions, coverage adjustments, and claims support.
  • Data Management:
    Keep thorough, up-to-date client records and follow-up logs within the Agency Management System (AMS) to ensure compliance.
  • Team

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with colleagues to coordinate workflow, support sales campaigns, and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Insurance Account Management, Inside Sales, or a high-volume agency environment.
  • Active 2-20 or 4-40 Insurance License preferred, or willingness to obtain licensure.
  • Strong knowledge of personal and commercial insurance products, carriers, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Excellent relationship-building and client-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
