Line Leader, Manufacturing ​/ Production

I am currently looking for an experienced Line Leader to join my client's production team. This is a hands‑on role where you will lead by example, ensuring production lines run efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and health & safety.

You will work closely with a small team of operatives, taking responsibility for line performance, product quality, and accurate completion of production paperwork. This is a great opportunity for someone with leadership experience who enjoys motivating others and driving performance.

• Set up and operate production lines efficiently, ensuring products meet specification and food safety standards
• Lead and support a team of line operatives, allocating tasks and ensuring appropriate training
• Achieve and exceed production targets and KPIs, minimising downtime and waste
• Monitor product quality and remove non‑conforming products in line with company procedures
• Complete all production paperwork and labelling accurately and on time, ensuring full traceability
• Carry out line changes and adjustments to maintain optimum efficiency
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleaning are maintained at all times
• Promote and enforce health & safety and food safety standards across the line
• Support the wider production team and undertake additional duties as required

• Previous experience working in a food or fresh produce environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a diverse workforce
• Previous experience as a Line Leader
