Overview

Our Pharmacy Dispenser role pays from £12.87 per hour, rising to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. If you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), opportunities are available and we’d love to hear from you.

The availability windows indicate the periods we’d like you to be available to work each week. We will schedule contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. We are happy to support flexibility: if your available times closely match but do not exactly align with the advertised times, we’d still like to hear from you.

Responsibilities and expectations

• Pharmacy Assistants are integral to the running of our pharmacies and work as part of a team.
• Accurately dispense medication with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Provide a confident, friendly, and professional service to customers; offer information and guidance on common ailments, symptoms and products.
• Understand customers’ needs and communicate product benefits clearly; promote appropriate pharmacy services.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures in dispensing and customer service.
• Ensure dispensary routines and consulting rooms are clean and organized; maintain accuracy in prescription administration.
• Respond to customer queries and inform the Pharmacist of any complaints.
• Keep up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.

You will need

• Qualifications gained from working in a pharmacy environment.
• A desire to train and develop in the pharmacy field.
