Field Service Technician 2 – Sunbelt Rentals, Inc.

We are seeking a Road Mechanic/Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment, including aerial work platforms, construction tools, generators, pumps, HVAC and oil/gas systems.

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of equipment in remote locations.
• Identify and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Work safely and follow company safety standards.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

• High school diploma or GED; trade school or equivalent training preferred.
• 3–5 years of mechanical experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines (generators, pumps, HVAC, oil & gas).
• Valid driver’s license; acceptable driving record (21 years of age & CDL may be required in some locations).
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to use mechanic’s tools of trade.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location.

Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, lift 50 lbs or more, and work both indoors and outdoors.

Base pay range: $22.40 – $30.80 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on location, experience, and training.
