Food Runner

Hawks Cay Resort, the premier destination in Duck Key, Florida, is seeking dedicated and service-oriented Food Runners to join our dynamic team. As we unveil an enhanced resort experience in January 2025, we are committed to delivering world-class hospitality through exceptional service. Food Runners play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience by expediting food delivery from the kitchen to guests, maintaining presentation standards, and supporting the restaurant team in delivering outstanding guest service.

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure food presentation and quality meet Hawks Cay Resort standards before serving.
• Assist servers by promptly responding to guest requests and inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
• Uphold Hawks Cay Resort’s service standards and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and sanitary dining environment.
• Assist with clearing tables and resetting dining areas as needed.

• Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move items up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
