Job Overview

Hawks Cay Resort, the premier destination in Duck Key, Florida, is seeking enthusiastic and service-driven On-Call Banquet Servers to join our dynamic team. As we unveil an enhanced resort experience in January 2025, we are committed to delivering world‑class hospitality through exceptional service. Banquet Servers play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by ensuring the seamless execution of banquet events, from corporate meetings to weddings and special occasions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and place settings.
  • Serve food and beverages professionally and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the banquet areas.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly to requests to enhance their experience.
  • Work closely with banquet captains, kitchen staff, and fellow servers to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as Hawks Cay Resort’s service standards.
  • Assist in post‑event breakdown and cleanup, ensuring the venue is restored to its original condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service while upholding the resort’s commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous banquet or restaurant serving experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry trays, move tables and chairs, and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures is a plus.
