Lab Assistant

Overview

Come work and live in the Heart of the Florida Keys! MHS is looking for a computer lab manager.

The essential function of the position within the organization is to assist in managing the daily activities and operations of the computer lab in assigned school.

• Assist in managing the daily activities and operations of the computer lab in the assigned school.
• Supervise students working in the lab, provide training and assistance to both students and teachers, schedule lab use, perform general data processing work and generate computer reports, troubleshoot computer problems, and perform related work as assigned.
• Work under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.
• Responsible for scheduling computer labs, helping maintain Destiny (a program for student debts), and assisting with inventory of student Chromebooks.

• Must be able to multitask and be organized.

• 7.50 hour day
• 200 workdays
• Starting salary: 19.79 hourly - can be increased with approved experience for this position.
