Job Responsibilities:
- Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle.
- Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.
- Check in, pick‑up and safely transport goods to the intended destination.
- Ensure contents are properly secured in a truck to prevent damage or injury.
- Obtain signatures to confirm and complete pickups and deliveries.
- Assist in mapping driving routes.
- Stay on a predetermined route and ensure timely transport and delivery.
- Communicate with dispatch as required.
Communication Expectations:
- Load acceptance confirmation
- Advise planned loading schedule
- Check in at shipper, loading, dispatch
- En‑route updates
- Arrival & check‑in at consignee, unloading, dispatch
Confirm that the contents of each shipment match the manifest document.
Upload scanned paperwork to your work application, perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip, check weather conditions and road reports before departure; always keep your truck/trailer clean, maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.), and notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues.
Follow the delivery schedule and rest at appropriate times, maintain detailed driving and delivery logs on ELD, track and report working hours, adhere to company rules and regulations, obey all applicable traffic laws, and drive in accordance with weather/road conditions. Comply with ICC and FMCSA/DOT regulations.
Salary: $58,500.00–$63,000.00 (Marana, AZ). Full‑time, Entry‑level.
