The Electrical Wireman Level 3 positions involve assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, following NEC regulations, and using various tools. Candidates should have a basic understanding of electrical systems, proficiency with tools, and strong attention to detail and safety. Wireman 4 works independently, leads tasks, supports electricians in planning and oversight, and provides mentorship across the wireman team.
Responsibilities- Perform advanced installations, maintenance, and repairs with minimal supervision.
- Ensure full NEC compliance and safety adherence.
- Operate all tools, equipment, and testing devices independently.
- Lead or assist in troubleshooting advanced electrical issues.
- Conduct thorough inspections, identifying system failures and risks.
- Support project planning and workflow coordination.
- Mentor Wireman Levels 1–3 and set standards for safe, quality work.
- Communicate job updates, safety concerns, and material needs proactively.
- Fully interpret and apply complex blueprints and electrical codes.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Has worked as an AP3/W3 approx. 1 year.
- Can install panel cans, gutters, and pull boxes.
- Raceway box fittings and fills required.
- High-level safety awareness.
- Strong math calculation abilities.
- Can read and understand full set of electrical blueprints.
- Has ability to supervise and teach an apprentice.
- OSHA certified preferred.
$25 – $28 per hour
