The Town of Marana is seeking an Architectural Project Manager to work in the CIP Engineering Division of the Public Works Department
. This is a full‑time position and an exciting opportunity for someone interested in having a direct impact on designing and constructing the Town of Marana’s public infrastructure projects. This position manages the design and construction phases of the Capital Improvement Program projects.

Expected Hiring Range: $70,538.94 – $88,173.38

• Placement within the expected hiring range is dependent on direct experience, internal equity, and/or budget.

Salary Range: $70,538.94 - $

• Develops new projects by scoping, cost estimating, scheduling, and budgeting. Prepares project submittal into the CIP program.
• Manages design projects by procuring and managing consultants; reviewing and tracking consultant work for compliance with the project scope; tracking project budget; accepting review of project design deliverables; and approving design changes and RFI requests.
• Manages construction projects by overseeing the construction process, negotiating and managing contracts, tracking the budget, overseeing the construction budget, and reviewing pay applications.
• Coordinates with the project team, including inspectors. Completes project closeouts and warranty.
• Reviews project documents such as architectural plans, structural submittals, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans, landscape plans; inspects material and contract submittals for compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Over three years in civil architectural design, vertical construction, or a related field.
• Valid Arizona Driver License.
• Ability to pass both the Town of Marana background check and a motor vehicle records check.

An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience that provides the desired knowledge, skills & abilities to successfully perform essential functions may be considered.
