The RN manages and supervises resident care, ensuring the highest quality of care in accordance with Minnesota BON standards, guided by the Residents’ Bill of Rights, and adhering to the facility QAPI program. The RN performs comprehensive assessments, develops detailed Plans of Care, and oversees nursing staff to ensure safety and quality of life for residents.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and care planning.
- Implement and monitor nursing care, evaluating outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with standards and resident rights.
- Provide direct nursing care, including IV administration and resident education.
- Maintain safety, documentation, and infection control standards.
- Supervise and manage nursing staff, ensuring proper staffing and support.
- Graduation from an approved nursing program by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
- Current Minnesota RN license.
- CPR and emergency care certification.
- Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living facilities.
