LAB Technician

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and research industry, is seeking a LAB Technician II to join their team. As a Lab Technician , you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting the Optically Clear Adhesives lab team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent manual dexterity, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Prepare materials and organize for product testing.
• Assist in laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research.
• Perform mechanical performance tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
• Test or make visual observations on product samples from competitors and communicate test results to the appropriate requester.
• Conduct hands-on tests with multiple pieces of equipment, moving, arranging, and hanging product testing weights (2lbs-20lbs).

• 1-2 years of experience as a Lab Tech or related field; open to new graduates.
• Ability to lift/carry at least 25 pounds and perform high-repetition lifting of 5-pound weights.
• Comfortable using a ladder or step stool to work from elevated surfaces.
• Proficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Experience with MS office
