Job Overview
Fairview is looking for a Health Unit Coordinator/Monitor Technician n’s Hospital in Maplewood, MN. This position is 56 hours per two weeks on the Night shift, 8 hour shifts, and every other weekend rotation.

About this Position:
Observes cardiac monitors, detecting and reporting abnormalities that may occur in the patients EKG status.
- Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards
- Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements to achieve clinical, satisfaction and/or efficiency outcomes
- Observes the cardiac monitors and analyzes, records, and documents the rhythm status for each monitored patient
- Communicates information regarding rhythm status, problems, concerns, etc to the RN, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team, as appropriate
- Participates in meeting unit goals and objectives
- Performs clerical duties as delegated by the Clinical Director or Charge Nurse
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year experience of Transcription/Unit Coordinator experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year EKG/Monitor Tech experience
