ResponsibilitiesHours for this role are Monday - Friday, 8a-4:30p.
As a dedicated therapist at Prairie Care, you will transform lives through individualized, family, and group psychotherapy. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care to patients and families.

Collaboration:
Engage actively with an interdisciplinary treatment team, partnering with patients and their guardians to create a supportive environment. - Therapeutic Assessment and Planning: Assess, plan, and implement tailored psychotherapeutic services for a diverse range of patients, including children and adolescents.
- Diverse Therapy Services: Offer a comprehensive suite of therapy services, including individual and family psychotherapy, and facilitate process groups that foster growth and healing.
- Empowerment and Growth: Enhance the functioning of patients and their families, equipping them for the next chapter in their mental health journey.
- Person‑Centered Care: Provide person‑centered, trauma‑informed, and culturally responsive care to all patients.
- Education and Licensure: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field. Independent licensure as a mental health professional (e.g., LP, LPCC, LMFT, LICSW) in Minnesota is required. Non‑independently licensed candidates will be considered at the associate level.
- Experience: Two years of experience in behavioral healthcare is preferred.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of DSM‑IV criteria and skill in interviewing and assessment.
- Professional Attitude: Display a professional attitude in all aspects of performance.
- Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with Clinical Directors and other professionals.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook). - Transportation and Flexibility: Reliable transportation and telephone; ability to shift between dissimilar tasks quickly.
- Teamwork and Decision‑Making: Respond calmly to volatile situations; make effective decisions under stress.
- After‑Training Ability: Manage disruptive and explosive patients.
Independently licensed position: $80,000 to $102,000 annually. Associate level therapist: $29,000 to $33,000 depending on education, licensure, and experience.
