Short Term Chemical Engineer

This position providesanindividual withthe opportunity to receive professional mentorship and leadership development opportunities while supporting our clients.

Candidateswill be responsible for supporting researchers in the development and improvement of biopharmaceutical filtration devices.

Projects are matched based on the candidate's abilities and current business needs

Compensation: $20.00 - 25.00 per hour

• General laboratory activities and instrumentationincludingpipetting, preparation of solutions/samples/media, and operation of pH meters,autoclave sand analytical balances
• Lead projects toquantifythe performance of filters and chromatographic devices used to purify samples
• Develop process strategies and data packages to solve problems for biopharmaceutical manufacturers
• Communicate the results of work to technical colleagues and client stakeholders
• Author technical publications such as application notes
• General laboratory upkeep and supplies maintenance

• Undergraduate student completing abachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering that is about to start theirsenioryear
• Previous related internship preferred
• Good deductive reasoning and analytical approach to problem solving
• Able to handle multiple projects concurrently, self-motivated, and results driven
• Able to communicate effectively
