** As a Senior Manager R&D - IP&SS Product Development - Peri Operative Surgical Solutions you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
* Leading a team of R&D Product Development engineers and scientists developing products across the Peri Operative Surgical Solutions portfolio while:  + partnering with Upstream Marketing and FEI R&D in our strategic marketing efforts (early-stage product strategy and product roadmaps) to fill the product pipeline with advancements in existing products and entry into new areas that address unmet clinical needs  + partnering with Upstream Marketing, Downstream Marketing, and Medical Affairs to develop and maintain clinical customer relationships and build employee clinical acumen  + working in concert with the Project Management Office to maintain effective core team resource allocation, and IP&SS R&D Design Development to maintain effective extended team resource allocation – to achieve committed deliverables  + owning R&D design control deliverables for new product development efforts  + decreasing portfolio uncertainty as early as feasible by clearly defining program scope and aligning program timing with technology capability  + continuously evaluating selected designs to ensure they meet user needs and design input requirements while reducing project-, cost-, and timeline-risk and increasing certainty of business case attainment  + transferring product design knowledge to Sustaining Engineering as products enter the market;

maintaining a role as product design subject matter experts to support Sustaining activities as needed
