This position is located at the Materials Lab in Maplewood, MN. This position exists to provide administrative support and receptionist duties for the Office of Materials & Road Research so that the employees and staff can operate more efficiently and effectively. The position also exists to manage the inventory of office supplies for employees in the office and in the field and provide support to the Technical Certification Program by assisting when there are in‑person classes.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Skill in customer service sufficient to schedule and confirm customers’ appointments in person, on the phone, and through email and other written or electronic correspondence.
  • Skill in customer service sufficient to contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other concerns.
  • Knowledge of maintaining and updating inventories or equipment, supplies, and commodities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience providing administrative support.
