** Holman is currently accepting applications for the position of Director
- Sales Commercial Insurance Team is responsible for relationship and contract ownership of clients within the regional territory. Protect the current client base, grow client portfolio through client acquisition and strengthen the team through coaching and development of the commercial sales team
• Oversee the Holman Insurance sales efforts ; lead revenue growth and surpassing of sales goals through acquisition of new customers within the region. Facilitate the recruiting, hiring, training, growth and professional development of the commercial sales team
• Build relationships and increase partnerships with clients to maintain the long-term health of the client portfolio
* Drive new business primarily by executing sales strategy aligned with fleet management target market
• Maintain strong relationships with leaders and key decision makers in the Insurance industry,
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending industry conferences, while promoting the Holman brand within the marketplace.
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
Education and/or Training:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required, Master’s preferred
• Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
• Executive Program classes within finance, insurance and negotiation preferred (valued).Relevant
Work Experience:
• 20+ years’ related work experience, including 15+ year’s sales or leadership experience; multiple levels of reporting relationships strongly preferred
• Extensive knowledge and experience within sales leadership and sales messaging and general knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, insurance companies, account management, client relations,and other operational areas.
