Hours:
Monday–Friday (8:30 AM to 4:30 PM), 40 hours per week, with occasional attendance at organizational functions.
Location:
Maple Shade (Affiliate Office) - travel between multiple offices will be required.
Compensation: $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The Office & Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing administrative operations and leading human resources practices that foster a high-performance, employee-oriented culture. This role ensures smooth office functionality, supports staff communication, and manages HR policies, recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, compliance, and employee relations. The position reports to the Director of Finance.
Key Responsibilities Office Management- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal staff communications.
- Monitor inventory levels and order office supplies as needed.
- Maintain organized records of supply purchases and vendor contacts.
- Manage facility maintenance contracts and vendor relations.
- Coordinate with third-party IT support to resolve technical issues and implement upgrades.
- Maintain company wide security and camera systems, including access controls.
- Process auto and liability insurance claims.
- Maintain property and asset management records (e.g., vehicle registration, insurance, accident records).
- Oversee bi-weekly payroll processing, including time clock accuracy and benefit contributions, along with final reporting to the Finance Director.
- Filing and organizing all Payroll-related paperwork.
- Maintain job descriptions and update job requirements for all positions.
- Lead recruitment efforts, including background checks, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Conduct new hire orientation and required training programs.
- Manage offboarding procedures, including equipment collection and access termination.
- Ensure legal compliance with HR-related federal and state regulations.
- Administer and maintain Workers Compensation and General Liability claims.
- Maintain historical HR records and filing systems.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain employee benefits programs and processing of benefit claims.
- Under the direction of HR Committee, oversee investigations related to employee relations and grievances.
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with leadership on employee development and performance appraisals.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR and office management.
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between offices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Experience working with diverse teams and nonprofit organizations preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems.
