Amrize is looking for a Labourer to join our team to carry out scheduled ground maintenance work. This is a fast paced production environment, so mechanical aptitude is important. You will need to be a safety‑minded individual who can think on your feet and adapt to changing situations. This position will report directly to the Plant Operator and General Foreman.

• Seek out and implement Best Practices
• Create an atmosphere of teamwork, ensure the development of personnel and arbitrate to resolve conflicts
• Identify and communicate problems and information
• Perform several types of manual work
• Handle materials, tools, and equipment
• Operate automotive vehicles when required
• Shovel/hose spillage around conveyors
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Work experience:

Skid steer experience is ideal

• Ensure safety goals are achieved

• Semi‑skilled, enthusiastic, has the ability to work on their own initiative
• Knowledge in general maintenance work
• Capable of working in an outdoor environment year round
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

• Pay Rate $43.81/Hourly
