Reporting directly to the Manager, Control Centre, the Team Lead, Control Centre, will be responsible for supporting the control center team in all functions.
What You’ll Do Here
Support day‑to‑day Control Centre operations to ensure work is completed accurately and on timeAct as a go‑to resource for Resource Associates by answering questions and helping resolve issuesHelp train and support team members to ensure they understand their roles and expectationsAssist with organizing documentation and keeping procedures up to dateCommunicate challenges, updates, and progress to the Manager, Control CentreHelp implement new processes by documenting, training, and supporting the team through changeWork closely with employees and contractors to ensure smooth collaborationProvide mentorship, guidance, and encouragement to help the team perform at their bestStep in to support Resource Associates when neededParticipate in planning discussions and contribute ideas for improving processes and performanceWhat you Bring to the Team
Someone interested in growing into a leadership roleStrong communication and people skillsAbility to stay organized and manage multiple tasksComfortable making day‑to‑day decisions and solving problemsAbility to work independently and remain calm under pressureBasic to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office)Willingness to learn new systems, procedures, and best practicesExperience with dispatch, control centres, or technical environments is an asset—but not requiredIdeal for someone new to leadership or looking to build leadership experienceHands‑on coaching and mentorship providedOpportunity to develop decision‑making, communication, and people‑management skillsExposure to operations, planning, and process improvementThe expected hourly rate for this position is $25-$27/hr individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience and unique skills.
