Make a Difference Every Day:

Everclean is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to be the backbone of our mall community. In this essential role, you'll create welcoming, safe, and spotless spaces where thousands of people shop, work, and connect each day. Your commitment to cleanliness directly enhances the customer experience and supports the entire community who calls this mall their workplace or destination.

• Be the community's first impression – maintain pristine common areas, washrooms, offices, and entrances where presentation truly matters
• Respond with care – address customer and staff concerns about supplies and facility cleanliness with professionalism and a helpful attitude
• Keep our spaces healthy and safe – perform thorough cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing to ensure everyone feels comfortable and protected
• Manage essential daily operations – sweep, vacuum, mop floors, stairways, and entrances; empty and clean waste receptacles; and compact refuse throughout the day
• Support seamless operations – maintain cleaning supply inventories and submit monthly reports to the Property Manager
• Collaborate with your team – work alongside colleagues to respond to requests and uphold the highest standards of facility care

• Customer service mindset – ability to interact professionally and courteously with customers, tenants, and team members
• Physical capability – ability to stand, walk for extended periods, and perform all cleaning tasks including washroom and office sanitation
• Reliability and consistency – strong attendance record and dependable work ethic
• Team collaboration – willingness to respond to requests from the Property Manager, Lead Hand, Supervisor, or Manager
• Safety awareness – ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and supplies; knowledge of WHMIS policies and procedures is an asset
• Communication skills – ability to follow oral and written instructions in English
• Technical proficiency – understanding of proper cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing procedures and policies
