Early Childhood Educator – Kids & Company

We currently have over 150 childcare centres across Canada & the USA and are constantly expanding. Come and grow withinóð company!

We are looking to hire two educators for split shifts at our Websters Corner location:

• Shift 1:1790 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 – 5:30 p.m.
• Shift 2: 7:30–8:30 a.m. and 2:00 – 4:30 p.m.

In addition, we are looking to hire on‑call supply staff at our Little Willows locations.

• Maintain documentation, reporting and record keeping.
• Implement a Reggio Emilia approach to learning.
• Support children’s emotional, physical, or behavioural well‑being while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physicalомоти skills.
• Maintain attendance, and health and safety checks.
• Work with professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary.
• Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms.
• Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels with children, parents and co‑workers.
• Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation, reporting, and classroom operations.
• Strong collaborator and team player.
• Ability to take initiative inside and outside of the classroom.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.

• British Columbia ECE License.
• Criminal Record Check.
• Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR.
• Immunizations up to date.
• Ability to push, pull and lift up to‑45 pounds.
