ResponsibilitiesThe Orkin Pro commits to safely and professionally providing the highest level of protection and service to customers on a designated service route. Responsibilities include daily route operations, scheduling, issue diagnosis, treatment planning, and resolving customer problems with empathy.
- Complete award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve customers
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
- Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory; ensure timely and safe arrival at each location
- Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
- Demonstrate professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
- Provide problem-solving for customers with empathy and propose efficient and innovative solutions
- Meet with customers to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services for peace of mind
- Inspect interior and exterior of properties; learn how to perform inspections
- Communicate actions taken and discuss additional services with customers
- Complete required service-related documentation in a handheld device for speed and accuracy
- Company vehicle with gas card provided upon route assignment

Training pay range starts from $18 to $21 USD per hour - Extensive paid training upfront and on an ongoing basis; no prior pest control experience required

Minimum Requirements:
- No Experience Required – we’ll train you to be a Pro
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
- Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with customers inside their businesses and/or homes
What will my work environment be like?
Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which may include an OSHA-compliant respirator
- Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
