Overview

Specialty Sales (Style, Tech, Beauty, Ulta Beauty) position rting hourly rate: $17.25 USD per hour. All about Target and All about Style sections describe the role of a Style Consultant focused on delivering a guest-first experience, strong operations, and compelling visual merchandising.

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying informed on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests as needed.
• Use store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and apply insights to support guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and follow visual merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills and merchandising to capacity to create a guest-ready floor.
• Maintain backroom organization to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price change processes with signing and clearance merchandising best practices.
• Maintain and use the fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and help guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by returning merchandise from fitting rooms and guest service to the sales floor throughout the day.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU), and Drive-up (DU) while complying with applicable laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during daily tasks and assisting them as needed.
• Engage with guests to solve their specific needs and thank them for shopping with Target.
• Perform all other duties based on business needs.

• Flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times).

• Ability to communicate using multiple devices, operate handheld scanners, and use technology as directed.
• Effective communication, ability to work independently or with a team, and resolve guest questions quickly.
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within time frames.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders and move merchandise safely; frequently lift up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
• Must be able to stay mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift; shift length may vary.
