Management Trainee Program

The Management Trainee position’s primary responsibility is to fulfill our mission statement, “to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests.” Management Trainees perform a variety of sales, merchandising, and operational tasks assigned by store management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Sales Generation and Guest Service: greet Guests, answer questions, recommend merchandise, and maintain a clean and organized store.
• Teammate Recruiting, Training and Development: develop skills, assist in leading and educating new Teammates, and motivate Teammates to achieve sales goals.
• Visual Merchandise Management: develop and implement visual displays based on Buckle guidelines and manage product categories.
• Operations: work a flexible schedule, complete store opening and closing procedures, and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Supervisory and Leadership: support Store Manager, lead Teammates, and act as Store Manager in their absence.

Compensation & Benefits:

Buckle offers a competitive pay range of $18-$22/hr, as well as benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field of study preferred; or one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel, including overnight as required.
• Relocation may be required.
