Prep Cook

We are hiring immediately for full‑time PREP COOK positions.

Location:

Boston Scientific – 1 Sci Med Place, Maple Grove, MN 55311. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM (full‑time). Further details upon interview.

Pay Range: $20.00–$22.00 per hour.

Requirement:
Previous cook and/or food service experience required. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

• Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Taste completed meals to ensure quality.
• Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Store, label and date all food items according to policy. Follow HACCP guidelines.
• Complete all required documentation, reports, logs as required.
• Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation time.
• Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations.
• Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Resolve customer concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
