OR RN Circulator – Job Summary The OR RN Circulator provides holistic nursing care to patients and families throughout the surgical process. The RN performs independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions in accordance with established standards and competencies. Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and updating care plans, coordinating care with the surgical team, and ensuring patient safety throughout the procedure. The RN follows the Standards of Nursing Practice including assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

The role also involves delegating tasks to appropriate care team members, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to quality improvement and patient-centered care in the operating room environment.
