Lead Assembler

1st Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday

The Lead Assembler will ensure that assemblers perform their tasks to produce quality parts in an efficient and safe manner. They will report directly to the Lead Coordinator.

• Coordinate and advise Assemblers in the performance of their duties.
• Assist with morning start‑ups for all assemblers.
• Conduct inventory counts and label packaging.
• Monitor all assigned assembly lines for efficient production of quality parts twice each hour.
• Monitor all assigned assembly line bids for each hour.
• Complete inventory documentation throughout the assembly task.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Read and comply with work instructions, set up sheets, and checklists.
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Attend weekly Lead Assembler meetings.

• Experience with line assembly.
• Attention to detail.
• Must have great interpersonal skills.
• Dexterity and hand and eye coordination.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to take direction from supervisors/manager.
• Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack or hand jack occasionally.
• Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for eight hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Previous lead experience (preferred).
