JOB OVERVIEW:
Join our Premier Personal Lines Insurance team in a junior-level, non-sales role focused on service and support. This position builds personal insurance expertise, strong customer service skills, and supports our clients through administrative tasks in an in-office setting.
LOCATION: In-Office - Richfield, MN. The office location is most likely in Richfield, or nearby in St. Louis Park, Edina or Minnetonka.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Preferred but not required:
Personal lines insurance experience. - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive and outgoing disposition; enjoys teamwork but can work independently.
- Excellent customer service mindset and a service-oriented approach.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to):
- Perform administrative functions in support of the service team, including data entry, accessing carrier websites, processing changes, verifying renewal policies, and communicating with third-party vendors.
- Follow protocol for taking calls in department phone queues.
- Develop working knowledge of carrier websites to obtain accurate and timely information for clients and third parties.
- Comply with internal procedures and meet service performance and quality standards.
- Work as a team and share insurance knowledge openly.
- Own issues until resolution is achieved.
- Seek insurance knowledge through training and education.
- Complete additional projects as assigned by a supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Diplomacy skills and the ability to resolve issues.
- Independent user of technology.
Educational Requirement:
- College degree or experience equivalent preferred.
- Property & Casualty Insurance License is required to perform this role; if not licensed, willingness to obtain it if hired.
Technology:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
COMPENSATION:
The national average hourly rate for this role is $26.00 - $31.00 base pay, exclusive of bonuses or benefits. Final base pay will reflect experience, skills, training, certifications, and education, and will consider internal equity and market data.
