Rehabilitation Clinic Assistant, Float

Park Nicollet Health Services is looking to hire a Rehab Clinic Assistant Float to join our team. As a Partner for Good, you will help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of clerical and clinical tasks assisting the Rehabilitation Services Care Teams in providing outstanding patient care and services.
  • FLOAT:
    Travel to at least 10 different sites, covering 80% of our designated rehab locations. Candidates may not opt out of the Maple Grove or Chanhassen locations.
  • Float between these locations as needed:
    Burnsville, Prior Lake, Eden Prairie, Chanhassen, Minneapolis (call center), Methodist Hospital, Roseville, Minnetonka, Maple Grove, and Plymouth.
  • Work schedule:

    M–F 8‑hour shifts between 6:30 a.m. and 6:45 p.m., occasional Saturdays.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education, experience or equivalent combination:
    Six months experience in a customer service job or medical related experience in a hospital, rehab, or clinical setting.
  • Licensure/registration/certification: NA.
  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities
    • Work independently under the supervision of multiple rehabilitation professionals on recurring assignments.
    • Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
    • Strong verbal communication, customer relations, and listening skills.
    • Good telephone etiquette, money handling, and keyboarding skills.
    • Maintain good customer relations and patient confidentiality.
    • Communicate in person and over the phone with a wide variety of patients (including those with speech and hearing impairments, those requiring interpreters).
    • Work in a fast‑paced environment that requires switching between tasks.
    • Comfortable using computers and learning new equipment and software as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
