Rehabilitation Clinic Assistant, Float
Park Nicollet Health Services is looking to hire a Rehab Clinic Assistant Float to join our team. As a Partner for Good, you will help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of clerical and clinical tasks assisting the Rehabilitation Services Care Teams in providing outstanding patient care and services.
- FLOAT:
Travel to at least 10 different sites, covering 80% of our designated rehab locations. Candidates may not opt out of the Maple Grove or Chanhassen locations. - Float between these locations as needed:
Burnsville, Prior Lake, Eden Prairie, Chanhassen, Minneapolis (call center), Methodist Hospital, Roseville, Minnetonka, Maple Grove, and Plymouth. - Work schedule:
M–F 8‑hour shifts between 6:30 a.m. and 6:45 p.m., occasional Saturdays.
- Education, experience or equivalent combination:
Six months experience in a customer service job or medical related experience in a hospital, rehab, or clinical setting. - Licensure/registration/certification: NA.
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Work independently under the supervision of multiple rehabilitation professionals on recurring assignments.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong verbal communication, customer relations, and listening skills.
- Good telephone etiquette, money handling, and keyboarding skills.
- Maintain good customer relations and patient confidentiality.
- Communicate in person and over the phone with a wide variety of patients (including those with speech and hearing impairments, those requiring interpreters).
- Work in a fast‑paced environment that requires switching between tasks.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new equipment and software as needed.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
