Job title: Home Health Aide
Compensation: $19.00-$24.00/hour

Location: Maple Grove area

This position is a part-time Home Health Aide role to provide elderly care and home companionship for clients. If you are reliable, compassionate, and want an opportunity to help others while gaining valuable caregiving skills, consider joining Griswold Home Care.

• Provide non-medical care and companionship to senior clients in their homes
• Assist with daily living tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
• Support clients with personal hygiene and bathing while maintaining dignity and respect
• Offer dementia- or cognitive-impairment–related care as needed, with patience and kindness
• Submit accurate documentation and updates to the office at the end of each shift

• Reliable transportation
• Current valid driver’s license
• 18 years of age or older
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; 2+ years of home care experience is a plus (caring for a loved one counts). We are willing to train you.

This companionship and caregiving position has flexible scheduling with day and night shifts available. Clients may require as little as 4 hours of care, while others may need 24-hour care.

As a Home Health Aide, senior clients rely on you to help them manage daily living tasks within their homes. You enjoy meeting with clients and providing cheerful companionship as you assist with various responsibilities, including laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping, with a positive attitude.

Clients trust you to provide non-medical care in a manner that preserves their dignity. You are professional and respectful as you help clients bathe and maintain personal hygiene. You may provide caregiving services for clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments. Your patience and kindness are central to delivering exceptional elderly care.

At the end of each shift, you submit accurate documentation and keep the office updated on any changes to your clients’ care. You enjoy helping seniors and take pride in knowing your efforts as a dependable caregiver make a difference!
