Overview

Responsibilities- Evaluate, plan and implement patient treatment programs in coordination with medical staff.
- Administer treatment programs per physician orders and clarify physician instructions.
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and medical staff on patient care issues as needed.
- Recommend physical therapy policies and procedures concerning services provided.
- Evaluate charts and report on patient progress.
- Maintain patient records, charts, and discharge summaries.
- Educate patients and families in proper self‑management care and exercise programs.
- Conduct and participate in clinic educational programs.
- Assist other therapists in planning treatment programs.
- Participate in improving organizational performance through data collection and process recommendations.
- Participate in establishing job requirements and goals; perform duties at required proficiency.
- Maintain safe, accessible, and efficient work areas.
- Keep clinical knowledge current through continuing education, literature, and seminars.
- Follow policies for handling confidential information and security of data.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements, staying current with legislation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (preferred);
Bachelor of Physical Therapy (required);
Master’s of Physical Therapy (preferred). - One year of physical therapy experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification (required);
Licensed Physical Therapist (required).
Salary range: $82,053–$102,567 per year, with additional bonuses, differentials, and deferred compensation possible. Total rewards include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid time off, and 401(k)/profit‑sharing plan.
