Responsibilities

As a key player in our dynamic environment, you will provide milieu counseling that inspires and uplifts, facilitating engaging group sessions that foster connection and learning. You’ll assist clients in practicing vital daily skills, guiding them toward independence and confidence. Imagine leading thrilling outings into the community, creating lasting memories and experiences for our residents! And when challenges arise, you’ll step in with your crisis intervention skills, expertly utilizing de‑escalation techniques and restrictive procedures to ensure everyone feels safe and supported.

Your keen observational skills will shine as you participate in treatment planning, offering therapeutic interventions and insightful feedback to help clients achieve their goals. Safety is our top priority, and you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment through vigilant monitoring, conducting unit checks, and performing belongings and room searches to identify any potential hazards.

But that’s just the beginning! You’ll also contribute to the smooth operation of our facility by keeping an eye on supplies and notifying the right individuals when stocks are running low. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and sanitize program utensils, toys, and materials, ensuring a clean and welcoming space for everyone.

And let’s not forget the importance of documentation! You’ll be responsible for maintaining professional, timely, and accurate records, capturing the incredible progress and achievements of our clients.

Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and eligibility for insurance coverage for driving company vehicles.
  • CPR certification required within the first 30 days of employment.

Pay range for this position is $18 to $23 depending on education and experience.
